Setting Up Threadless Links

With Threadless Links it’s easier than ever to share your work, consolidate your online presence, and simplify the process of selling your art—all without paywalls or monthly fees. We've created a professional link-in-bio platform created specifically for Artist Shops and it's totally customizable!


Getting Started

Sign in with your Threadless account credentials and your Shop will be automatically synced to  your shop branding and products.


Once logged in you’ll see three tabs for customizing your Links page Content, Theme, and Settings. 

Content 

Welcome to your link hub—the place to curate your creative world. From your portfolio and merch to playlists and socials, use this space to share your artistic journey.

Note: Social icon links can be added in the Settings tab.


Your Display Name, Bio, and Avatar are automatically synced with your shop’s branding, but you can adjust them at any time.

Use the General section to add new Links and organize using the Heading and Divider buttons. Want to change the flow? Just grab the handle on the top left to drag and drop your links into the perfect order.


Adding Products 

In the Your Threadless Products section, you can highlight individual products, use interactive carousels, or create instant grids to showcase your designs.

After choosing a display method (Single, Carousel, or Grid), you can select products manually or use the Department and Collection buttons to automatically pull items from your shop.


Note: For large shops, the initial load may take a few minutes. If items are missing, try refreshing or syncing your feed.

Once a link is created, you can edit the Display Name in the first field and the URL in the second. You can also add an image via URL or upload one directly.

Click the Paintbrush icon to customize your link colors using a hex code, or click the colored square to open the color picker. You can also add a Gradient Background by using the toggle at the bottom.

Want to grab more attention? Hitting the the Play icon to add one of eight dynamic animations to your links.

You can also use the Clock icon to schedule your content—perfect for timed drops or limited-edition merch where you want your links to go live and expire automatically.

Note: Don’t forget to save! Click the Save icon at the top of the page to keep your progress. If you leave this screen without saving, any unsaved changes will be lost.


Once a link is created, you can publish or hide them using the toggle at the bottom. To remove a link permanently, click the Trash Can icon at the bottom of the link field.


Theme

This is the hub to unify all your Threadless links. You can stay consistent with your Artist Shop branding, choose from 12+ pre-built templates, or use granular controls to customize your background, buttons, and fonts for a truly personalized page.


Templates

Explore our current designs in the Template Picker, or head to the bottom of the page and click Browse Community Themes to discover unique, custom builds from the community.

Colors

You can choose a new Primary color for your links page using a hex code, or click the colored square to open the color picker. The Text field adjusts your Display Name color, while the Secondary text field adjusts your bio text color.

Button Colors & Borders

For any link buttons that haven't been individually customized, you can instantly adjust all remaining buttons using the color tools here. Set a new Background color, choose a Hover color for interactivity, or update the Text color inside the buttons.


You can also add and customize a Button Border by clicking the toggle to make them active.

Background & Desktop View

Add your own custom image or photo to your links page! The Background Image replaces the solid color and is highly visible on mobile. You can also add a secondary image for the wider Desktop view so both images work together.  Use the mobile and desktop icons at the top of the page to preview your layout

Once that is done, you can click the toggle to add a custom gradient color and control the direction of the movement.

Font Family

Here you can choose from 10 distinct fonts to match your brand's aesthetic and add a personal touch to your page.

Settings

Now that your Threadless links are ready, it’s time to share them! Your link URL is automatically generated from your Artist Shop name, but you can update it under the Page Handle section.


Redirect Mode & Hide Branding

If you’re running a promo or have big news, you can set your home page to Redirect to any of your existing links. You can also toggle Hide Branding to remove the footer for a cleaner, more minimal look.


Social Links

Create icon links for all major social media sites. These can appear above or below your existing links—just add your handle or username to get started.

Google Analytics

Monitor your performance with ease. Track views, clicks, and your most popular designs over time. For advanced metrics, simply integrate your Google Analytics code to pinpoint exactly where your fans are coming from.


Social Share Preview

Give your Threadless Links page even more customization by selecting or uploading a Social Share Image and Description to display when you share your page on social media.
